Canterbury Childcare Centre was founded by Jane Webb as she wanted to create a warm and welcoming space where children thrive. With over 47 years of experience in the childcare field, Jane is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where young learners feel safe, loved, and excited to grow.
Her dedication to quality care is at the heart of everything the centre does, from the handpicked staff to the thoughtful programs designed to spark curiosity and creativity in children. Jane believes in treating every child with respect and kindness, encouraging their individuality while fostering a sense of belonging.
At the core of her values are integrity, empathy, and a deep commitment to community. She believes that strong relationships with families are key to a child’s success, and she works hard to ensure that parents feel supported and involved in their child’s learning journey. It’s not easy leaving your children at childcare, but the team at Canterbury Childcare make it easy. Despite the pit at the bottom of your stomach, you have a great sense of relief knowing your children are well known, well cared for, and well taught. The team treats each child as an individual and helps them reach their full potential.

We all love Canterbury Childcare Centre! The wonderful team creates a caring and stimulating environment, making drop-offs so easy. The educators are lovely and have been at CCCC for a while, so they know all the children really well. We really appreciate how Sally and the team create a great sense of community and provide advice and support with challenges like toddler tantrums, sleeping, and toilet training.
Our daughter has been at Canterbury Childcare for three years, and we have been so impressed with the caring nature of the educators. She often tells us how much she loves childcare and the staff there. The daily updates and photos allow us to discuss her day at home. The small size of the centre and the consistency of staff really help, making it the perfect environment for our child while we go to work.
